Discovering Your Assignments

Most men drift through life carrying a vague sense that they were made for something — but never stopping long enough to find out what. They build businesses, raise children, and serve at church, all while quietly wondering if they’re doing the right things or just staying busy.

A Father on Mission doesn’t drift. He discovers.
Your assignments are not a mystery God is hiding from you. They are already written into your life — in the things that light you up, the gifts you carry, the burdens you can’t put down, the fruit you’ve already produced, and the season God has placed you in right now. Your job is to learn to see them.

That’s what the five lenses are for.

One Life. One Mission. One Lord.

This page introduces the Five Lenses framework and bridges directly to the lead magnet / 8-week program.

The Five Lenses

Lens 1

Your Interests and Passions

What has God written in your heart? The things that captivate your mind, the causes your family keeps returning to, the work you lose track of time doing — these are not accidents. They are signals. God doesn’t give a man persistent passions without a purpose behind them.

Lens 2

Your Gifts and Strengths

What has God made your family good at? Your gifts didn’t change when your circumstances did — ask Joseph. God gives specific strengths to specific people for specific assignments. Your job is to name them, develop them, and deploy them — in yourself, your wife, and your children.

Lens 3

The Burdens You Bear

What has God made your family care about? Some burdens are formed through suffering. Some are simply woven into you. Both are valid. Both are clues. The thing that breaks your family’s heart is often the thing God intends to heal through your family.

Lens 4

Your Past Fruitfulness

Where has God already been working? The places where you have consistently produced results — across different seasons, different domains, different circumstances — are the fingerprints of God’s design in your history. He never wastes a man’s story.

Lens 5

Your Season and Circumstances

What has God placed in your hands right now? Your current season shapes your current assignments. A man with young children has a different assignment than a man whose children are grown. The question is never when will I have the right circumstances? The question is am I being faithful with what’s in my hand today?
